  • Hundreds gathered Saturday night at Veterans Park to hold a candlelight vigil in honor of Renee Nicole Good, who was shot in Minnesota. Organizers estimated about 500 people attended—many holding lights, candles or signs—to express local concerns over due process.  KOBI-TV

CULTURE NEWS

  • Hollywood star Bruce Campbell will premiere his rom-com ‘Ernie and Emma’ on Feb. 14 at the Holly Theatre in downtown Medford—an event that also supports the Ashland Independent Film Festival. Tickets cost $23 and are on sale now.  KOBI-TV

  • Nearly 200 Oregon Guard soldiers returned to Medford yesterday at South Medford High School after a nine-month deployment to Sinai. State and military leaders honored their service & sacrifice during the demobilization ceremony, marking a proud moment for the community.  MedfordAlert
