EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Thursday, Jan. 29, Medford School District reported its highest graduation rate in a decade, with 88.1% of the Class of 2025 earning diplomas during the 2024–25 school year. The rate exceeds the statewide average+ and shows progress across local high schools. MedfordAlert
- ➤ Logos Public Charter School (Logos) in Medford reported a 97% four-year graduation rate and 100% five-year completion rate for the Class of 2025. The school offers a hybrid model (combining on-campus lessons and individual tutoring) where high school students earned 18 associate degrees and career certifications. KDRV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Hunters must report their deer, elk, cougar, bear, pronghorn or turkey hunt online or at a licensed ODFW location by tomorrow, Jan. 31 even if the hunt was unsuccessful. Rogue River Press
- ➤ The American Cornhole Organization is hosting the Medford Major this weekend — the kickoff party begins today at 5:30 p.m. at Rogue X with free admission and food trucks, and the tournament will run through Saturday. KOBI-TV
