- ➤ Registration is now open for the annual Pear Blossom Run marking its 50th anniversary at the Medford Pear Blossom Festival. The race is set for Saturday, April 11 and offers 10-mile, 5K and one-mile fun run options with registration available through the Rogue Valley YMCA (rvymca.org). KOBI-TV

- ➤ January in Medford mixed early rains and mountain snow with a dry second half after high pressure settled on Jan. 9, leaving only 1.05 inches of precipitation compared to the usual 2.72 inches. The month finished with slightly lighter temperatures and several cold nights. MedfordAlert
