- ➤ Medford Public Arts Selection Committee is seeking a local artist from Jackson or Josephine counties to design a mural themed (Connection) at the Bartlett-Middleford parking garage. Interested artists must submit proposals by April 12 to receive a $10,000 fee covering project costs. KOBI-TV
- ➤ The Southern Oregon Chinese Cultural Association will host a free Lunar New Year celebration in Jacksonville on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will offer live performances, cultural booths and demonstrations plus free trolley service connecting downtown venues. KOBI-TV

- ➤ On Feb. 14, the Medford School Board announced Jeanne Grazioli as the new superintendent following a nationwide search of 26 applicants; Grazioli, who has 30 years of education experience and served 10 months as interim superintendent (earning praise for her collaborative approach), will now enter formal contract negotiations.
