- ➤ ACCESS is hosting its Annual Senior Fair on Tuesday, March 24 at Rogue X in Medford from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair features over 80 exhibitors offering healthcare and caregiving services plus snacks, giveaways, and a bingo game with NewsWatch 12 hosts and is free to attend. KDRV

- ➤ The In a Landscape series returns with Oregon-born pianist Hunter Noack performing at Applegate Lake on May 30 and 31, with additional summer shows planned in Oakland, Coos Bay, and Langlois (tickets available online). KOBI-TV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Medford City Council approved an Economic Improvement District today—partnering with the Downtown Medford Association to boost downtown development. The district covers properties between Bear Creek and Oakdale Avenue and from Sixth to Eighth streets and uses a two-tier fee structure to fund beautification, advocacy, and administration. KDRV
- ➤ Gas prices in Medford have risen more than 67 cents per gallon since a recent bombing of Iranian oil fields pushed global crude costs higher. AAA advises drivers to use its app + cost-saving strategies when refueling. KOBI-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Sunny Joy Farms in Talent will host a Backyard Chickens 101 course this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Led by owner Sunny Lindley, the course teaches coop setup, safe bird handling, and chicken care laws (classes start at $25) and welcomes youth, teens, and anyone interested. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Eight elementary students competed at Phoenix High School in a culinary contest as each prepared dishes with a Sodexo employee’s help — fourth-grader Audrey Duewall won with her almond butter and fruit cookie cups. KDRV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Frank Phillips accepted the interim director role at Jackson County Library District on Wednesday after former director Carrie May was terminated last month. The board will finalize his contract while staff start union negotiations with a 150-day bargaining period set to begin next week. KOBI-TV
