- ➤ Kids Unlimited is converting a former car auction lot on Maple street into a student-operated drive-through restaurant at its Riverside campus. Its project (Pastabilities Unlimited) produces roughly 75 lbs of pasta weekly and will open by this summer to provide healthy meals to a local food desert. KOBI-TV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Tim Fullerton, known for his role as Sam in Mamma Mia! at Oregon Cabaret Theatre, passed away earlier this month in Cedar City while working with the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Theatre Executive Director Rick Robinson said he was a warm, memorable presence who touched many lives. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Volunteers are dismantling a historic 1860s building after the Applegate Valley Historical Society lost its property in a court battle. They are removing cement+ logs to salvage materials for a future rebuilding and must finish by early April. KDRV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Pacific Power customers will see a 4.1% rise in monthly bills today as the Oregon Public Utility Commission approved the changes on March 31 — bills will increase by about $5.64 based on individual use. KOBI-TV

- ➤ On Monday, Medford hosted its first girls flag football game at Spiegelberg Stadium when North Medford faced South Medford. The game marked a milestone for the sport following OSA approval (with South Medford winning 40-13). KDRV
