EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ High school students from South and North Medford returned from a two-and-a-half-week trip to Alba, Italy—visiting historical sites and experiencing Italian culture. A welcome home party is scheduled for next Sunday—bringing together students, families, and community members. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Chick-fil-A awarded 20 team members with scholarships (ranging from $1k to $25k) at a ceremony held at Rogue Valley International Medford Airport where family joined in. The scholarships were given to current high school and college students with a total of $47k awarded. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Local girls aged 16 to 20 will gain hands-on firefighting experience at the Rogue Girls Fire Camp in White City—registration is now open with limited free slots for the mid-June workshop. KOBI-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Rogue Community Health will look for a new leader when CEO William North retires at the end of the year. He led the center since 2014 — growing its staff from 89 to more than 300 as he expanded care access. KOBI-TV
