  • Pear Blossom Park will host a free community block party Saturday, April 25 from noon to 6 p.m. organized by Sky Real and Charity Haugset (Medford Little Caesars' general manager) featuring free meals, live music, traditional drumming and giveaways inspired by Native American powwow traditions; local vendors will set up booths to offer additional services.  KOBI-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Starting Sunday, April 26, overnight paving work along Highway 99 in Phoenix, Ore will cause intermittent lane closures between Coleman Creek Rd. and West Glenwood Rd.; officials advise drivers to plan alternate routes until work finishes on April 30.  KOBI-TV

HEALTH NEWS

  • Boxers from Superior Athletic Club's Rocksteady boxing program held a punch-a-thon on Wednesday to raise funds for Parkinson's awareness. The event (part of Parkinson’s Awareness Month) helped participants improve mobility and support treatment plans.  KOBI-TV
