- ➤ West Coast Strength opened its seventh gym Monday, Apr. 29 in Medford at Rogue Valley Mall in a 30,000 sqft space. The facility offers a 7-day free trial, exclusive parking, and recovery equipment selected from over 20 suppliers to serve athletes and community members. KOBI-TV

- ➤ Southern Oregon University President Rick Bailey discussed Deloitte Consulting’s preliminary report (calling for $18 to $20 million in cost cuts and expanded support for nontraditional learners) at a recent meeting, and Deloitte will release a public draft of the financial plan on Monday, May 4. - ➤ SOU Board of Trustees got a blueprint for cutting a projected deficit of $16.9 million as Deloitte consultants presented cost savings and enrollment plans on Tuesday (April 29). The board will review further recommendations next week while a $15 million state grant supports operations only through fiscal 2027. KOBI-TV
