- ➤ At North Medford High School Saturday morning, the Medford Rotary Relays honored former track athlete Amber Black by renaming the shuttle hurdles event in her tribute. Her father said coach Pieter Voskes led the change to celebrate her lasting impact on the school’s track team. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Oregon Tech has been chosen as one of 10 host sites for the NAIA softball tournament's opening round—Southern Oregon University’s field was also selected. The tournament will run from May 12th to 15th at Stillwell Stadium with winners advancing to the World Series. KOBI-TV
