- ➤ Phoenix High School held its Bloom and Bargain Bash on Saturday to raise funds for its sparrow Emiliano, a 2-year-old with epilepsy and visual impairment, organized by junior Aaron Chavez. Vendors rented parking spots to sell items while the lot fees went to support the fundraiser. KOBI-TV

- ➤ Firefighters completed a 22-acre prescribed underburn in the Ashland Watershed on Thursday and secured fire lines later that day. On Friday morning, ignitions continued below the Fell on Knee Trail moving toward the Wonder Trail—residents likely noticed increased smoke in the area. KDRV
