City officials announced that all splash pads opened on May 22 and are operating daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at six parks—Fichtner-Mainwaring Park, Hawthorne Park, Lewis Park, Lone Pine Park, Oregon Hills Park, and Rogue X—to help residents cool off as temperatures rise.

Registration for the Rogue Marathon is now open for this October.

Runners can sign up for a full 26.2-mile race, half marathon, 10K, kid’s race or senior race with the course running along the Bear Creek Greenway from Ashland to downtown Medford — showcasing Southern Oregon’s fall scenery.
