Good morning, Medford.

United Ways of the Pacific Northwest activated its Disaster Recovery Fund (helping families affected by 414 wildfires burning over 8,000 acres) across Oregon after Governor Tina Kotek declared a state of emergency Tuesday.

Firefighters on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest put out abandoned campfires over the past few days as fire danger remains high, and officials urge people to report unattended fires to 911.

Medford allows fireworks only from July 1 to 6 in designated areas as nearby cities like Jacksonville and Phoenix enforce full bans, urging residents to follow local guidelines before buying fireworks for Independence Day.
