- ➤ Goodwill is set to relocate its Central Point store as construction on a new site will begin next month. The new location on Biddle Road will serve as both a Job Connection Retail Store and Donation Center—adding five jobs and hosting a groundbreaking ceremony on July 8. KOBI-TV
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Since Monday, firefighters with the Oregon Department of Forestry have worked to contain over 100 new wildfires in southern and eastern Oregon — crews in the Medford area have fought 10 lightning-caused and 43 human-caused blazes while also supporting efforts to stop larger fires. Officials urge the public to follow fire safety rules as dry conditions and windy weather make fire suppression more difficult. MedfordAlert

- ➤ Effective today, Oregon’s new e-bike rule lets riders use trails, state parks, and wet sand at the ocean if the bikes meet Class 1, 2, or 3 standards. Riders must yield to pedestrians, horses, and others and follow safety guidelines—such as announcing when passing—to keep rides safe. KOBI-TV
