- ➤ The Jackson County Fair is in full swing at The Expo in Central Point with rides, carnival games, a petting zoo and a talent show running today through Saturday—nightly winners earn a $1,000 prize and a slot for next year’s fair. - ➤ At the Jackson County Fair in Central Point, Angel Ceglia spent about 10 hours prepping her 1,400-pound cow Vidar + using a rinse, drying and blow-off method to get him ready for a showmanship competition scheduled for Thursday. - ➤ Activists in the Rogue Valley joined the Good Trouble Lives On movement today to honor civil rights leader John Lewis—who died in 2020—and they hung banners over freeway overpasses in Medford, Talent, and Central Point. KOBI-TV

- ➤ The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding 73-year-old Roland 'Rolly' Renfro who left his Gold Hill home Monday night on Rogue River Highway—driving east in his silver 2015 Ford F-350 with plate ELKRNR while with his small pug-terrier mix—and asks anyone with information to call 541-774-6800. - ➤ The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon has submitted plans to expand its downtown campus with a 13,927-square-foot, two-story addition that will consolidate museum operations and educational programs at the historic Carnegie Library on West Main Street—designed to preserve the original 1912 structure while adding flexible event spaces and preschool classrooms.
