- ➤ On July 19, police from Ashland, Jackson County, and Oregon State Police arrested a suspect who allegedly fired shots on I-5 near Ashland after a drone located him in a wooded area—an armored vehicle enabled officers to safely approach and detain him. MedfordAlert
- ➤ A man suspected of firing a rifle at officers along I-5 near Ashland was taken into custody early Friday morning after Eagle Point Police deployed a drone on July 19 at 5:19 a.m. which located him and led to his surrender. KDRV
- ➤ Sharon Johnston-Corson filed a lawsuit against Officer Kenneth Moore and the City of Gold Beach after she was allegedly shot twice in the shoulder during a traffic stop on January 12th—she was restrained and airlifted to a hospital while a Curry County grand jury had previously ruled the officer’s actions justified.
