- ➤ Rogue Retreat’s Hopeful Secondhand Thrift Shop in Medford will celebrate National Thrift Shop Day from August 17 to 23—offering coupons and raffles while using its proceeds to fund meals and support services for those moving out of homelessness. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A semi-truck veered off I-5 near Exit 30 in North Medford on Thursday when the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel — both he and a passenger survived. KOBI-TV

- ➤ The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 32-year-old Raven Alexis Baysinger—last seen at Griffin Park in Grants Pass in May and believed to be in the Wilderville area—with anyone holding information urged to call 541-474-5123 and reference case 25-19739. KOBI-TV
- ➤ Two men, Jose Manuel Lopez (24) and Juan Carlos Conchas (23), were sentenced to 63 and 40 months in federal prison for their role in a 2022 armed robbery in rural Josephine County when they dressed as DEA agents, and four co-conspirators pleaded guilty on federal charges while the men were ordered to pay restitution to a victim.
