- ➤ Jackson County Fire District and ODF responded to a fire on the 4000 block of West Evans Creek Road north of Rogue River and firefighters quickly knocked it down over 1/10 acre—canceling the helicopter as they continued to mop up the area. KDRV
- ➤ Fire crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a grass fire burning near Lane Creek and Old Stage roads between Central Point and Gold Hill — the blaze, estimated at about one acre, prompted an aggressive initial attack with ground resources, two helicopters and an air attack platform as officials urged the public to avoid the area. - ➤ One lane of Rogue River Highway was closed Tuesday afternoon after a crash about 1 mile west of Rogue River and officials said drivers should expect delays and take alternate routes. MedfordAlert
