- ➤ Hundreds gathered at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point for the 9th annual Veteran Fun Run and Walk 5K to support veteran suicide prevention and mental health. About 300 runners finished the 5K and raised $189K—more than the $45,000 goal meant to help three veteran charities. KOBI-TV

- ➤ Hazardous air quality from the Moon complex is affecting Jackson and Josephine counties today—Medford reached an index of 177 and Grants Pass hit 500—and medical expert Robin Miller warned that the toxic smoke can harm lungs and hearts, advising residents to stay indoors and wear N95 masks as rain may help clear the air soon.
