- ➤ ODOT said a half mile of Oregon 234 between Modoc and Dodge roads near Eagle Point will close for about a month beginning Thursday at 8 a.m.—crews will repair sinking pavement by excavating up to 30 feet beneath the roadway while drivers follow detour routes to avoid delays. MedfordAlert
- ➤ Medford residents voiced hope and caution over the Creekside Quarter Project during Wednesday night’s city council meeting as they questioned its purpose and future funding. The council approved a 6—4 motion to use a transient lodging tax on visitors for the project, with the tax planned for the November ballot. KDRV
