Medford School District is asking residents to share input on a new superintendent through an online survey from Dec.

8-19 and public forums on Dec. 9 at North Medford Commons & Dec. 10 at South Medford’s Little Theater; the board will review applications with finalists expected in February.

City officials said Asante will turn Ashland Community Hospital into a satellite campus of Rogue Regional Medical Center by spring 2026 (inpatient services will end while emergency care and key outpatient services like surgery, lab work and imaging continue at the Maple Street campus) as the city monitors the transition.
