- ➤ The Medford School Board updated its search for a new superintendent on Thursday during a regular meeting and is working with consultant McPherson & Jacobson LLC to screen applicants. Applications close January 6 and the board expects public Q&A with finalists before a superintendent begins on July 1. KOBI-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Leaders and NBC5 met with Senator Ron Wyden on Wednesday morning in Medford to discuss mental health services under the Tomorrow Needs You initiative; Wyden said he will support future legislation for opioid treatment, telemedicine, and school-based behavioral health amid Medicaid cuts that have slowed progress. - ➤ The Rogue River Chieftains boys’ basketball team has announced its lineup — including Keoni Cwiklinski, Will Wardle, Mason Ayer, and Easton Brown — as they prepare for upcoming games at the local school. Rogue River Press
