Hundreds gathered at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point for the 9th annual Veteran Fun Run and Walk 5K to support veteran suicide prevention and mental health.

About 300 runners finished the 5K and raised $189K—more than the $45,000 goal meant to help three veteran charities.

Today, Rogue Community College second-year dental hygiene students offer free dental screenings at the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic—located at Table Rock Campus Health Professions Center in White City—to provide affordable care and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Patients will receive X-rays and a periodontal evaluation under the supervision of licensed dental professionals.
